Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 22, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Reptimo (“Reptimo”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Reptimo mobile application (the “App”). Reptimo is a reptile-care assistant that builds care plans, sends reminders, and tracks your pets’ logs.
By using the App you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Data controller: Vitalii Iudin (sole proprietor).
Contact: privacy@reptimo.com.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account information
- Anonymous account identifier. On first launch the App creates an anonymous account with a unique identifier (Firebase Authentication
uid) so your data can be saved and synced. No personal details are required for this. - Email address and name. If you choose to register or sign in, we collect your email address and, where provided, your display name. You can sign in with email/password, Google, or Apple. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive an Apple private relay address (
@privaterelay.appleid.com) instead of your real address.
2.2 Content you create
- Pet data and care logs. Information you enter about your reptiles — names, species, dates, weights, feeding, shedding, terrarium readings, droppings, notes, habitat/equipment details, and app personalization settings.
- Photos. Photos you add for your pets and logs.
2.3 Purchase information
If you buy a Reptimo Premium subscription, we receive purchase and subscription status information (e.g. plan, renewal status, transaction identifiers) from Apple and from our subscription provider, RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card details — payment is handled entirely by Apple.
2.4 Diagnostics and analytics
The App does notcurrently collect crash reports or analytics data. If we add such tools in the future, we will update this Policy and the App Store “App Privacy” details before doing so.
We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, browsing history, or advertising identifiers.
3. How we use your information
We use your information only to operate and improve the App:
- create and maintain your account and sync your data across your devices;
- generate care plans, reminders, and alerts for your pets;
- store and display the pets, logs, and photos you create;
- provide and manage Premium subscriptions;
- respond to support requests and protect against abuse or fraud.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do nottrack you across other companies’ apps or websites.
4. Where your data is stored and who processes it
Your data is stored and processed by the following service providers (“sub-processors”):
- Google / Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage) — hosting of accounts, pet data, logs, and photos. Data may be processed on Google Cloud infrastructure.
- RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlement checks.
- Apple — account sign-in (Sign in with Apple) and payment processing.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Data may be stored or processed in the United States and other countries; where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share data only:
- with the sub-processors listed in Section 4, to operate the App;
- when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
6. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account (see Section 8), your pet data, logs, photos, and account record are deleted. Some information may persist for a limited time in encrypted backups held by our sub-processors, and purchase records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
- EU/EEA/UK (GDPR/UK GDPR). Our legal bases are: performance of a contract (operating the App and your account), legitimate interests (security and abuse prevention), and consent (where applicable). You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA).We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined by California law. You have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, use the in-app account deletion (Section 8) or contact us at privacy@reptimo.com.
8. Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly in the App: Settings → Delete account. This removes your pets, logs, photos, account record, and authentication credentials. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
9. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We rely on industry-standard safeguards provided by our sub-processors, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice within the App.
